Trees bursting into flower this Spring
Nothing beats the burst of blossom, and few come close to one of Nature’s most beautiful signals of Spring, the pale pink semi-double flowers of the Flowering Cherry Prunus Accolade.
The full flourish of Spring is a welcome sign on the nursery. We have now finished lifting rootballed and bareroot trees now and production schedules turn to pruning, potting and nursery upkeep. In the never-ending cycle of plant-lift-plant, we have also finished planting our new field stock, destined to be lifted in the 2027/2028 season.
Crossing fingers for warmer weather and preparing for three bank holiday weekends in May, don’t forget to focus on watering as well as considering your new tree planting plans for the season.
