A Spring in our steps as lifting season draws to a close
With the sun finally daring to creep out, the Production team have finally been able to plough on with planting on the newly prepared ground at Green Mile. The lifting season is coming to an end as the sap rises, the buds burst and the blossom starts appearing across the nursery.
One of the first and most majestic to treat us to some welcome colour on the container lines is Magnolia Aphrodite. Its deep rose pink buds are creating some impact already. Perfect for a soil that retains moisture well in a sheltered position, these most prominent of early flowering shrubs really make a statement.
The planting continues into Spring and soon this field will be full of trees that will continue to grow and thrive, ready for future seasons sales.
