Foliage, colour and an early Summer flourish

The weather is not behaving this year is it?! Whilst water is always appreciated on the nursery, we could do with some warmer, drier days to even things out. It is very much a balancing act with watering, as over-watering can sometimes be just as dangerous for tree establishment as under-watering. This is worth bearing in mind for your own newly-planted trees too – whilst the rain is doing some of the job, you will still need to monitor volumes and ensure the soil is moist without pooling.
On the nursery
Always popular, we have more than just evergreens in pleached form for screening. There are deciduous options too that work really well in pleached form, particularly hornbeam (featuring on our homepage slider this month).
Managing the best we can in the wettest of conditions, the team are also gearing up for show season, seeing us return to Four Oaks Trade Show and Southwell Ploughing Match and Show in September.
Taking stock, we will shortly be updating our stocklists, providing private, trade and landscape customers with the full visibility of available stock we have growing in our container unit.
If you would like to be updated with news and the latest stock, you can subscribe to our Green Mile Mailing List and all of our updates will pop up in your inbox from time to time.
