Ellie Goulding wedding trees supplied by Green Mile Trees
The wedding ceremony between singer Ellie Goulding and her partner Caspar Jopling took place at York Minster on Saturday 31 August 2019 with the celebrations continuing at Castle Howard, Malton. Trees supplied by Green Mile Trees were guests of honour at this celebrity wedding celebration. Alongside the beautiful flowers and greenery supplied by Dorset-based florists Tattie Rose Flowers were punctuating statements of our Betula Pendula, Acer Campestre and Acer Emerald Queen, straight from our nursery in Nottinghamshire.
The foliage, height and bark interest of the trees were chosen to blend and complement the floral choices that continued Ms Goulding’s dress and pearl floral themes. Vanloads of flowers and greenery arrived outside York Minster in the run-up to the ceremony, with the Tattie Rose Flowers team decorating the cathedral prior to the arrival of the impressive guest list. In attendance were showbiz pals of the couple including Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, Joe Wicks, Jimmy Carr and Princess Beatrice.
Ellie and Caspar tied the knot at 3pm. The couple had been engaged for one year prior to the event.
Alongside the trees were hundreds of white blooms and an archway of greenery fashioned from white hydrangeas and white wildflowers which was matched by the silvery-white bark of the birches supplied by Green Mile Trees.
