Provide them with good moisture retentive soil, good drainage and a sheltered position and they will repay you handsomely, with prominent flowers ranging from brilliant white through to deep rose pink depending on variety.
Malus evereste :A small deciduous tree producing white flowered crab apples. Starting off as red buds the flowers (5cm) flourish in spring with a second harvest of orange/yellow fruits in Autumn. We can supply as a tree or multi-stem.
Malus royalty: A spreading deciduous tree with ovate deep purple leaves reddening in autumn, and clusters of purplish-red flowers in spring, followed by small, deep purple fruits
Parrotia persica: Persian ironwood. A small tree or large shrub. Tolerant of most soil types. Tiny red flowers are borne in late winter. The leaves are reminiscent of beech, but turn dazzling shades of red and orange in a favourable autumn.
Philadelphus in variety: Mainly tall arching deciduous shrubs having richly scented flowers in early summer. Usually grow to around 4-6 feet and prefer full sun or partial shade. Most common varieties on the nursery include Philadelphus Lemoinei, Philadelphus Belle Etoile and Philadelphus Virginal.

Sambucus in variety: Deciduous shrubs or small trees with pinnate leaves. Produces clutches of small white flowers followed by red, white or black berries. Varieties include Black Lace and Plumosa Aurea.
Sorbus aucuparia Asplenifolia: A selection of Mountain Ash with deeply divided leaflets. A small to medium native tree. Tolerates just about any well-drained site. Delicate-looking pinnate leaves, lots of white flowers carried in panicles in spring, then bunches of bright red or orange berries in autumn. Good autumn colour.
