Following the build of our new home I asked Green Mile Trees to design and develop a full scheme of planting for both our front and rear gardens. I was very specific in my brief about colours, coverage, height and that there should be maintanence-free evergreens where ever possible. Absolutely delighted with our new ten foot high pleached hornbeam trees and yew hedging. Three men and three hours was all it took to transform a barren forecourt into an instant and elegant garden. We chose Green Mile Trees because they seemed to be very good value and relatively close to our new home. We were encouraged to pay a visit and Chris took us around the trees which were a lovely sight even in winter and you could see they were good quality. You can only choose the container grown trees yourself but we were not disappointed with their selection of the rootballed trees. One was damaged in transit and was replaced without question. The team that planted the trees and mature hedging were very considerate and did a good job. We would be happy to use them again. J K of Sleaford (May 2011)
This is the third planting session we have undertaken through Green Mile Trees, on the basis that the last two phases, starting six years ago, worked brilliantly. At those stages we planted a copse of mixed hard woods and conifers, a yew hedge and an avenue of horse chestnuts. This time we created another similar copse and planted several specimen trees. Christopher Scott and colleague inspected in the first instance, advised on what was best to plant given our difficult terrain and exposure and then did all the agreed work leaving the place clean, tidy and with instructions for the watering programme.
